Superior Control
Each controller acts as an independent controller unit with full functionalities of a regular console. However, there is one special button on each that serves a different purpose. In L, this special button either takes screenshots that can be shared online or records in game video footage. In R, there is an NFC reader that helps with connecting to Amiibo line of products from Nintendo. These Nintendo Switch Joy Cons have gyroscope sensors that provide tactile feedback to the player.
Multiple Orientations
The Nintendo Switch L and R controller pair can be used in four ways; in both single player and multiplayer modes, an individual player can use both L and R in two different hands for action games such as Arms. In a multiplayer mode for games such as 1 2 Switch, each player can take either of the L and R. The remaining two ways include: Attaching the L and R to the Switch console for direct play, and second, attaching to Joy Con Grip for a gamepad form factor. In short, these Nintendo JoyCons can be employed by numerous people for a variety of gameplay options.
